On Friday Justin Bieber visited the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, and left a comment in the guest book saying he hoped she would’ve been a ‘belieber.’
I like the points the author made in this. While I initially felt it was a stupid comment for him to make, reading it again I kinda got the feeling it was more he hoped he would pass muster with Anne Frank’s standards and be a fan of his. No, I’m not a fan, and just to be really transparent, I would still give him the stink-eye for those Manny Pacquiao manips. But I digress.
I’m way more freaked out by his fans’ response to the criticism AND the whole “Who’s Anne Frank” ignorance happening. (See my previous post) It’s called Google. I mean, you can just read the RESULTS of the search, not even any specific article, and find out Anne Frank is a historical figure.
(side note: I really think, looking at the username of the Instagram photo of Anne insulting her, that it was a troll account just wanting to get everyone furious. I can’t fathom even Bieber’s biggest fans calling themselves that username)
